Tree Climbing Outreach Program

Global Organization of Tree Climbers Launches Tree Climbing Outreach Program
The Global Organization of Tree Climbers (GOTC) is excited to announce a new outreach program that aims to make tree climbing programs more accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or status. This program is a fantastic opportunity to share the wonder of exploring the tree canopy.
Grants Available for Organizations Serving Individuals with Special Needs
Thanks to generous donations to the Adaptive Climbing Fund, grants are now available to organizations and non-profits that serve individuals with physical, emotional, or cognitive challenges, those from underserved communities, or who are otherwise disadvantaged.
Program Providers and Organizations Encouraged to Apply
We are encouraging all GOTC-recognized Program Providers who meet or exceed the GOTC best practices guidelines to contact local organizations and non-profits serving these groups. These organizations can then collaborate with the sponsoring GOTC-recognized Program Providers to submit grant proposals for review. Approved grants will cover at least 50% of the program’s retail cost, making it more affordable for organizations and expanding opportunities for Program Providers.
Training Available for Program Providers
For Program Providers who are inexperienced in working with these populations or with the specialized climbing techniques and equipment required, training is available for them and their staff. The training will be based on their specific needs and circumstances.
Support the Program
To ensure the long-term success of this important program, GOTC is actively seeking donations. The GOTC will continue fundraising efforts through their members, other non-profit organizations, and sponsors.
